SSV's President, Don Gagliardi, gave us an interview in which he tells us more about the organization that never gave up the fight for the San Jose Earthquakes' return in MLS.

Last Friday, 24 hours before the San Jose Earthquakes' last game of the season at home against Toronto (2-0 win), Soccer Silicon Valley organized its first annual dinner. About 250 persons representing the different families related to soccer in the Bay Area (San Jose Earthquakes management, staff, players & fans, media, non profit organizations, Santa Clara and San Jose city councils, amateurs, etc...) attended the dinner.
The event was mostly a celebration of the biggest success the organization ever had: the return and the first (successful) season of the Earthquakes. It was also an opportunity for the organization's president to make a detailed presentation of Soccer Silicon Valley and the projects that they are supporting now, including the status of the future Earthquakes' stadium.
A few days before the event, we met Don for an interview in which we asked him to tell us the history of SSV, its current projects and its views for the future.
